Breakfast Tacos for Veterans

Recently, our Land Sale TX team spent the morning volunteering at Patriots’ Hall in Dripping Springs for their weekly Taco Tuesday gathering, preparing and serving  breakfast tacos to local Veterans and their families. While we normally deal with land stats like acreage, floodplain and setbacks, we were pretty proud to boast a different kind of stat: 100 breakfast tacos prepped, cooked, wrapped and served in under 1 hour!

We arrived early to cook in the fully stocked Patriots’ Hall kitchen to provide breakfast for the Veterans who gather there each Tuesday morning for coffee, conversation, and community. And, surprise – we snuck in trays of doughnut holes too for an extra boost!

Patriots’ Hall is a nonprofit organization on 10 acres dedicated to supporting over 70,000 Veterans and their families in the Central TX area through programs focused on wellness, connection, and long-term support. In addition to community events like Taco Tuesday, they offer peer support groups, transitional assistance, and resources designed to help Veterans build strong and connected lives after service.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that does so much for Veterans in our community, and thankful to the Patriots’ Hall team for welcoming us into their kitchen and for all the wonderful conversations we had with those who have served.
